To get into SDIES for a M.Tech course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Students must pass graduation with a 50% aggregate. Sri Datta Institute of Engineering and Science offers full-time MBA courses of two years' duration. Students can get into this course based on a valid entrance exam score, i.e., TSI-CET.

For admission to MBA courses a SRM Institute of Science and Technology, candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, admission will be done through the SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Management (SRMJEEM) followed by a personal interview. However, candidates who want to get direct admission are required to submit the eligible entrance scores in CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ TANCET. Then, candidates would be granted direct consideration for the personal interview.
