Pondicherry Technological University doesn't accept CAT exam score for MBA admission. The university only accepts MBA admission via the counselling process. Candidates must have a valid qualification before applying for the course. Eligible candidates are further required to submit all the relevant documents for proof. Applicants must have bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate (45% for the reserved category) or equivalent CGPA in the degree examinations.

The seat intake for MBA at Rishi UBR PG College for Women is around 120. 70 percent of seats are filled by the TS ICET counselling. The 30% of seats are filled under the Management Quota. To secure the MBA seats under the ICET counselling candidates must complete the TSCIET admission process.
