Both Amity School of Film and Drama (ASFD) and Vogue Institute of Art and Design reputed colleges and well known for visual arts but Amity School of Film and Drama seems to have a broader range of courses in BVA (acting, filmmaking, and animation) whereas Vogue Institute of Art and Design focuses more on fashion designing and animation multimedia. As compared to Vogue institute, ASFD has better facilities and placement record.

Amity School of Film and Drama (ASFD) has excellent placement record. The Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) placements at Amity School of Film and Drama are known to be good, with a significant number of alumni working in reputed organizations. Because of strong alumni network and strong industry connections BVA placement are excellent leading companies like threter production have recruited students in past few years.

The eligibility criteria for admission is minimum 50% in 10+2 and 80% for direct admission in college without any enterence exam. The cutoff is not same every year for BVA at Amity school of flim and drama (ASFD) it changes every year depends upon number of students giving exam. However, the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the BVA course in ASFD is 10+2 with at least 50% marks and the admission process is usually based on university level entrance exams, followed by an aptitude and creative test, and an interview.
