For all others courses you are required to pass the entrance exam but for doing BVA course at MSU Baroda doesn't require any of the entrance exams. Some of the required eligibility for joining BVA at MSU Baroda,
*You must pass your 12th grade with 50 percentage or more from any recognised institution.
MSU Baroda offers BVA at 4 different specialisations. The average tuition fees collected for this course will be between 52 to 60 thousand for a year.

There is not very broad difference as both are a part of Fine Art degree but there is a key difference.
BFA :- It means doing paintings and artistic work, not a designers work, they can be free thinker, they have no limitation or restrictions. They can draw and create anything that they like and feel important.
BVA:- It means doing designers work, visual artist need to design the work for clients and for customers basically for others and not for themselves but according to the requirement and demand of clients and customers, the work not only includes just paintings, posters, illustrations but content and research also.

Utkal University of Culture's BVA eligibility criteria includes: Read 10+2, minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST), max age 17-23 years having any stream subject combination. UUCAT entrance examination is needed for admission with at least 40 % qualification mark. Key statistics: Total seat- 50; Duration – 4 year with 8 semesters; Reservation – 30% for Odisha domicile, 5% for physically challenged. Application fee: INR 500. Selection weightage: UUCAT: 70% and 10+2 marks: 30%.
