Since Foundation is the first level of the Chartered Accountancy course, the difficulty level of CA Foundation papers is often easy to moderate compared to Intermediate and Final levels. But CA Foundation is a challenging course in itself. Just 25% of test takers in the CA Foundation in December 2022 were able to pass the exam. A significant portion of applicants retake the test. Even with a 40% overall passing percentage, the Chartered Accountancy course is challenging. As a result, enrolling in a coaching programme is crucial if you want to pursue a CA degree. For this course, self-study is not sufficient.

No, there is no provision to change their exam centres after the CA admit card has been issued. The option to change test city is given only the form correction process which is held a day after the registrations close. the form correction window is opened for 3-4 days for making changes in the already submitted form. Afterwards, you cannot change the test city. You will have to take the test in the city mentioned on your admit card. The difficulty level of CA Intermediate exams is high. It is considered to be one of the toughest exams to crack due to the vast syllabus and multiple subjects. The pass percentage of CA Intermediate exam is low and candidates have to make multiple attempts to clear it. CA is a course, one can complete without coaching and guidance. Even though study material, test practices and other support is provided by the ICAI, it is not really possible to study by self. The topics and chapters are vast. They require guidance and practice as well as discipline and productive study hours.
