CAP Test

While taking the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's CAP Test, candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. There is a total of 50 questions and no provision of negative marking. 

Through CAP Test, applicants may get into the Communication programmes offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at their Coimbatore and/ or Kochi locations. 

CAP Test is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. They make their applications on their admissions portal. Eligible students can apply for it by paying an application fee or INR 500. However, if they wish to add programmes to their applications, they must pay an additional fee of INR 300 per programme. 

The institute does not release notices related to the application dates. However, as per past trends, applications for CAP Test are made available online during August end and through September. 

No, there is only one application fee for the all the candidates.

It is not mandatory to register for CAP Test and fill the application form in one go. Candidates can register for the exam on a particular day and fill the application form later. They need to submit the form and exam fee before the deadline to be eligible to appear for the exam.

Candidates who are yet to write their undergraduate degree examination as well as those awaiting the results of their undergraduate examination are also eligible to apply.

Yes, candidates need to submit the below mentioned documents:

• 2 Photographs
• Attested photocopies of 10th and 12th marksheets for BA applications.
• 10th and 12th marksheets and marksheets for all semesters of the Bachelor’s programme for MA and PG Diploma applications.
