As such no official source provide info on the acceptance rate of MSc course at Carnegie but the applicants seeking to take admission to this university's course should have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field to increase their chances fo selection as it can be assumed that it wont be a piece of cake.

Carnegie Mellon University's GRE requirement varies by program. Some programs require GRE scores, while others do not. The Language Technologies Institute does not have a minimum GRE or GPA requirement. The Computer Science Department waives GRE scores for applicants who have graduated from, or are enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University. However, submitting GRE scores is highly recommended. The Electrical and Computer Engineering department made the GRE requirement optional for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 admission cycle.
