No, CAT is not compulsory to get admissions to MBA courses at COER University. Because the university also considers the relevant scores from theMAT/XMAT/COERU Entrance test, followed by GD and PI. Therefore, candidates with valid scores in CAT can get admissions to MBA at COER University. However, it is not compulsory that candidates can only get admission through CAT.

CAT is not required for MBA admisson at AAFT University of Media and Arts. The university conducts its own in-house entrance exam AAFT GEE (AAFT Global Entrance Exam). It is an online aptitude test conducted by the AAFT University. Candidates are further required to appear in a personal interview with the AAFT Expert Desk (telephonic/video-conference/direct). However, candidates must have Bachelor's degree in any discipline before applying for the exam.

Yes, candidates can get admissions to the MMS course without CAT scores, because TIMSR Pune accepts different entrance examination scores according to the domicile of candidates. Therefore, for Maharashtra candidates, the institute accepts the valid scores from MAH-MBA/MMS-CET conducted by the DTE. Moreover, for other Indian students, the institute accepts the relevant scores from CAT/XAT/CMAT, etc. Hence, CAT can be considered as one of the entrance exams to get admission into MMS at TIMSR Pune. Yes, the CAT accepting MBA colleges conduct either GD/PI or WAT/PI. Since MBA is a professional course about business and team management, personality assessment round is essential to ensure that the aspirant has the flair for management which can be polished during the programme. Communication skills, problem solving ability, management and leadership are essential qualities for MBA thus, every B-School conducts GD/PI or WAT/PI.

CAT admission process for non-IIMs includes Written Ability Test (WAT) or Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). For admission the institutes also take into consideration candidate's academic record and work experience. Overall, the admission process of all CAT accepting colleges is same where selection is based on candidate's overall personality, communication ability and consistency in academics.
