Class 12th scores are not considered for selection. The selection is based on entrance tests and interviews. Admission to the university is Merit-cum-mean-based.

However, to be eligible to apply, you need to complete Class 12 in any Indian board with at least 50% marks.

The selection process is based on the enterance test conducted by the university. Azim Premji University National Entrance Test NET is the test a candidate needs to qualify to get selected in the university.

Generally for taking admission in SRM institute of hotel management in PG courses one need to give SRMJEEM exam or GMAT /XAT/MAT exams and according to the scores achieved it's being decided by the cut off marks to whom admission will be given. This eligibility criteria does not applies to B.Sc course. For B.Sc no entrance exam is mandatory for the students to take admission they only need to be scored good marks in their 12th grande and according to that admission is being given in B.Sc to the students.

The correct way is-

First you understand the theory concepts, then you need to memorize some formulas if any .

Then analyze the problem and try to solve it yourself.

Practice makes perfection.

More Practice - More efficiency.

You can get admission into the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Kohima with 70% marks in 12th, but you have to pass the entrance exam conducted at the national level for admission in B.Tech courses in different government and some private colleges. Some of the exams conducted at the national level are the JEE  for engineering and CUET and many other examinations conducted by the university itself.
