A Xerox copy of your CBSE 12th admit card is generally accepted for most purposes like exams or college admission. However, it's best to keep the original safe and carry it whenever possible. If needed, you can also request a duplicate admit card from your school or CBSE regional office to avoid any last-minute issues.

There are a lot of government and state -funded engineering colleges taking students under B.Tech wherein the fee is considerably poor in terms of marks obtained in the 12th grade. Examples are AU Allahabad (4400 rupees per year) and multiple Government Engineering Colleges (GECs) in Gujarat (such as Surat, Valsad and Patan) at a fee of about 6000 rupees per year. Alternatives consist of Jadavpur University (Kolkata, 10,000-20, 000 per annum) and COEP Technological University (Pune, 9000-15, 000 per annum). The state-level counseling in these institutions is generally particular.

In CUET, students are generally allowed to choose a domain subject they did not study in Class 12, provided the university they are applying to does not restrict eligibility based on that subject. For example, some universities require students to have studied specific subjects like Mathematics for certain courses. Therefore, while CUET offers flexibility, you must cross-check the eligibility criteria of your desired universities or programs to avoid rejection during counselling or admission verification.

Yes, you can join NSUT for engineering even after a 4-year gap after 12th. You just need a valid JEE Main score. During admission, they may ask for a simple gap certificate explaining the break, which you can easily get from a notary.

Yes, But you will not eligible for the reservation for home state students.Because the reservation is for the students who studied 11th and 12th in the state where the NIT is situated. The 50% seats are filled through home state quota. The remaining 50% is filled with the students from other states. You can get an admission if you had scored an eligible score in JEE.
