CCMT counselling offer admissions to NITs, IIITs, and GFITs. Candidates who have qualified the GATE exam will be eligible to appear for the counselling. The GATE counselling process includes stages- registration, payment of registration fee, choice filling and locking, and confirming admission.

CCMT Counselling registration process is conducted in an online mode. Candidates have to register for the counselling process by filling their name and GATE related details such as year of exam, registration ID, exam paper and score to generate the login details. More detailed step to apply for CCMT Counselling process are as follows:
- Filling of Application Form: After registration, candidates need to log in to the official website and enter their details such as parent's name, date of birth, gender, nationality, academic qualification, bank account information and others.
- Uploading GATE Scorecards: Candidates will also be required

Candidates will be given admission on the basis of the GATE score, choices made and seat availability. The candidates must apply for the CCMT counselling during the specified dates on the official website. The counselling process will be conducted soon after the GATE results are out.

Hi
Round 2 seat allotment will be released on July 8, 2023, followed by Round 3 on July 13, 2023. The special GATE CCMT 2023 round will commence on July 25, 2023. GATE COAP 2023 Round 7 results will be released on June 28, 2023. The GATE COAP process was conducted for 6 rounds between May 21 to June 23, 2023.

As we know, admission to the M.Tech programmes offered at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs is done via CCMT counselling based on GATE scores. The conducting body for CCMT counselling changes every year. After the announcement of the organising body, candidates can check the result of the seat allotment on the official website.
The CCMT eligibility is mentioned below: - Candidates must have a valid GATE score - A minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks must be acquired in the qualifying exam (For General and OBC). -
For SC/ST/PwD category candidates, the eligibility is set at a minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks.
