Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS University), formerly Meerut University, is a public state university located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. The university was established in 1965. It was later renamed after the former Prime Minister of India, Chaudhary Charan Singh. The university celebrated its silver jubilee in 1991.

The M.Sc in Biotechnology is a two-year full-time postgraduate self-financed program offered by Chaudhary Charan Singh University(CCS), Meerut.
A Bachelor's degree in any biological-science-oriented discipline including Nursing, BAMS, and BHMS. The candidates should have passed with a minimum mark as mentioned by the preferred institutions.
Fees: INR 1,12,000 (total fees have been calculated based on all years/semesters as provided by the college. The actual fees may vary).The latest cutoff information for M.Sc.(Biotechnology) at CCSU is yet to be rolled out by the university and the expected cutoff is approximately 75 percent based on past year's records.

CCSU UG Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board of education for getting admission into B.A. (H) / B.Com (H) / B.P.Ed / LL.B. / B.A. LLB
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% in Science stream from a recognised board for getting admission into B.Sc. (H)
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 45% (40% for SC / ST categories) from a recognised board for getting admission into BBA / BJMC
Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in any discipline from any recognised university for getting admission into BLIS. CCSU UG Selection Criteria:
Admission to B.A. (H) / B.Sc. (H) / B.Com (H) / LL.B. / BLIS / B.A. LL.B. / B.J. M. CAT CCSU is done on the basis of merit secured in class 10+2
Admission to BBA at CCS University is done on the basis of merit in UPSEE followed by a counselling
