As per recent Central University of Kashmir placement stats, the BA LLB UG level programme graduates received a package of INR 3.6 LPA during the placement year 2023. The University offers placement assistance through various training programs and industry-oriented skill enhancement programs. In addition to this, the University also provide placement assistance through various partnerships with recruitment partners.

The MBA placements at Central University of Kashmir is good with a median salary of INR 2.80- INR 3.24 LPA with the highest package being that of INR 22 LPA. Nearly, 60%-70% of students can placement opportunities at top MNCs through the college.An increase in the 5 percent rate have been seen compared to last year placements. he median package offered to PG Diploma students during the Central University of Kashmir placements 2022 was INR 2.40 LPA. In 2021, the median package offered was the same, i.e. INR 2.40 LPA. Looking at the past three years' data, the median package dropped by almost 26% from 2020 to 2021 drive and for the last two years (2021 and 2022) the median package has been constant. As per the NIRF report 2023, a total of 42 BA LLB students graduated in 2022. Out of these 5 were placed during Central University of Kashmir placements 2022. During 2022 placements, the median package offered to PG (2-year) students was INR 3.60 LPA. Over the past three years of placements, the median package for PG (2-year) courses has been the same. The University has not released the separate placement data for BSc. However, the combined placement details for UG (3-year) courses has been released. Out of 56 UG (3-year) graduates 32 were placed during 2022 placements. In 2021, out of 49 students 10 were placed successfully. At the UG level, UG (3-year) courses recorded the highest number of students placed during 2022 placements. At the PG level, the highest number of PG (2-year) students were placed. The Central University of Kashmir average package is not out yet. However, the median package is released in the NIRF report 2023. As per the report, the median package for UG (3-year) courses has been fluctuating from 2020 to 2022 drives, whereas, an improving trend was recorded in BVA/ BA BEd and BA LLB courses. According to unofficial online sources, a large share of the Central University of Kashmir alumni are working in the Education sector with a 26% share.
