Candidates willing to secure admission to the Central University of Punjab MA course must have a bachelor's degree and a valid score in the CUET exam. The admission process begins with the beginning of the CUET exam in 2025. Candidates with a valid qualification must apply for the exam on the official website of the exam. After the NTA has released the CUET admit card, candidates must appear for the exam and secure a valid score.

The Central University of Punjab conducts the counseling rounds for students based on their CUET PG exam scores. After the counseling rounds, seats are allocated as per the exam score and availability of the seats. Central University of Punjab does offer an MA course at the postgraduate level via different departments across multiple specialisations, including Education, Journalism and Mass Communication, History, Music (Vocal), Political Science, and more. Candidates can also opt for the exit option, where they can exit the two-year course after completing two semesters with a Diploma course. 

Admission to the MA course is based on the merit of the students in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. Aspirants willing to apply for Central University of Punjab admission 2025 for MA must register themselves for CUET exams and appear for the same.

Step 1: After adding the exam centre city preferences, candidates will then have to select the University/Programme selection.

Step 2: In this section, candidates are required to select the Central University of Punjab University first and then select the MSc programme.  After adding the university programme choices, save the details and move on to the next sections.

Step 3: In this section, candidates need to add the test details. Add the test paper subject code from the drop-down options mentioned in the window. After adding all the respective test paper codes of the university programme list which was selected in the previous step, save the details.
