Central University of Punjab MSc seats are allocated as per the counseling rounds that is conducted based on the CUET PG exam scores. Yes, admission to an MTech in Food Technology program is often based on a candidate's B.Tech aggregate percentage, as given below: 

• Pass with 55% aggregate marks in BTech in Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology
• Generally 55–60% marks in B.E/BTech, but may vary by university/program
• Minimum 55% in graduation from any engineering college recognized by the AICTE
• Some universities may offer a relaxation of 5% in the minimum percentage for SC/ST/OBC candidates. 
• Candidates who have a valid score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) may also be eligible for admission to an M.Tech program.
