The recent placement package offered to BSc graduates at the Central University of Tamil Nadu has not been officially released. However, as per the NIRF report 2024, the university has recorded a median package of INR 2.04 LPA for BSc students. Moreover, this is the overall three-year UG median package for courses. Hence, it might not be specific to the BBA course. 

Additionally, the university has recorded the placement record of INR 4.88 LPA as the median package offered to integrated PG courses.

Central University of Tamil Nadu offers mostly BSc courses in the Textile related specialisations. Thus, after completion of the course, either candidate can get a job in this field or can work in different related fields. Check out some of the job fields one can work in:

  • Retail and Fashion
  • Textile Manufacturing
  • Consulting Firms
  • E-commerce, etc.

Yes, the Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) offers seat reservations for BSc courses as per the Government of India norms for all central universities. Moreover, the seats are reserved for different categories, such as general, OBC, SC, ST, etc. Check out the percentage of seats reserved:

Central University of Tamil Nadu offers three- to five-year BSc programmes from six to ten semesters. The BSc courses are governed under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS). The curriculum is designed by the selected core subject and specialisation subject. The university implements a semester system for its BSc courses to extend systematic learning to the students.

In the first semester of the BSc + MSc in Biotechnology course, the university offers the subjects that are meant to create a foundational base for the students that helps them to understand the further semesteral subjects of the course. While preparing the cutoff for the Central University of Tamil Nadu BSc course, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff of CUTN BSc - previous years' cutoff trends, difficulty level of exam, total number of qualified candidates, total number of candidates applying for a specific course or specialisation, number of seats available for admission, etc.. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the Central University of Tamil Nadu CUET UG cutoff for BSc admission.

Yes, at the time of filling out the university's application form for the BSc course at Central University of Tamil Nadu, the applicant can choose the type of BSc course from honors, research and integrated. Additionally, applicants can also choose the specialisation according to their interest. Some of the offered BSc specialisations are as follows:

For admission to BSc courses at Central University of Tamil Nadu, the university accepts the scores of CUET UG. Hence, applicants must keep track of CUET UG dates. Currently, the counselling process for CUET UG and the application portal is closed. Therefore, the application portal of the university is now closed for BSc courses.
