While uploading the scanned photograph and signatures on the CG PET application form, the candidates will have to meet the official specifications. According to the specifications announced by the authorities, the scanned recent passport size photograph should have the dimensions of 3.5cm x 4.5cm. The signature of the candidate should be done on a white paper. The file size of the photograph and signature should be between 50KB to 100kb, respectively, and the file format should be JPEG.

This will allow the candidates to have a smooth experience while registering for CG PET. The official authorities have not yet released the CG PET 2026 syllabus. The subjects and topics to be studied for the examination can be checked through the official CG PET syllabus 2026, which will be available online at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. No changes in the CG PET 2026 syllabus are expected as compared to the previous year's. However, if there are any changes, it will be updated here. Candidates are advised to check the syllabus carefully for their preparation.

Some of the important topics that the candidates will have to study for the CG PET Mathematics section of the paper are - Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Co-Ordinate Geometry Of Two Dimensions, Co-Ordinate Geometry Of Three Dimensions, Algebra, Differential Calculus, Statistics, Vector Algebra, Trigonometry, Numerical Methods and Information Technology. All of the topics should be studied carefully by the candidates to have a higher chance of performing well in the entrance examination.

Candidates will have to prepare well as per the CG PET Chemistry syllabus since the question paper will be set accordingly. Candidates will be required to study various topics similar to the 12th standard qualifying exam for the CG PET Physics section. Some of the important topics to be studied for the candidates to be well-prepared for the examination are - Electromagnetic Induction And Alternating Current, Rotation Motion And Moment Of Inertia, Force And Laws Of Motion, Current Electricity, Heat And Thermodynamics, Work Energy And Power, Effect Of Electric Current, Properties Of Solid And Fluids, Kinematics, Photon And Radio Activity, Measurement and Semiconductor.

The authorities have released the CG PET syllabus online at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. Candidates will be able to access the details regarding the subjects, units and topics that need to be studied for the entrance examination through the syllabus of CG PET. No other mode will be used by the authorities to release the syllabus. Candidates are advised to check the CG PET syllabus beforehand to be well-prepared for the entrance examination.

Since CG PET is the biggest engineering entrance examination of the state, there are many applicants every year who wish to qualify the examination and pursue admissions into the engineering courses. The difficulty level of CG PET will be similar to the 12th standard qualifying examination, as the syllabus will be similar. Candidates will be assessed on their knowledge of topics from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

CG PET 2025 exam date has been announced. The authorities conducted CG PET 2025 as an offline test i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test at various centres on May 8, 2025. There was only one exam date and time slot for the examination and the candidates did not have the option of selecting their preferences. No requests for change of CG PET examination date and time was accepted by the authorities.

Yes. The candidates will be able to attempt CG PET in Hindi or English. The paper will be available in both mediums for the candidates at the examination centre. However, no other language will be available for CG PET. If the candidates face any problems related to the language medium, then they can ask for help from the invigilators at the exam centre. CG PET will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test and the candidates will have to answer objective multiple-choice questions.
