According to the official CG PET syllabus, the candidates will have to study different units and topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The CG PET syllabus will be similar to the topics from the 12th standard syllabus. While preparing the CG PET question paper, the authorities will refer to the official syllabus. Candidates are advised to check the list of topics to be studied for each subject carefully for their exam preparation.

CG PET will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test for all eligible candidates at various centres. Candidates will have to select the correct option from the available ones for every question and mark it on the OMR sheet. The total duration of CG PET is 3 hours. The entrance examination will be held at different centres, which will be announced soon. The authorities will prepare objective multiple-choice questions for the CG PET paper. Out of all of the available options, the candidates will have to select the correct one. The question paper will be prepared based on the official CG PET syllabus that consists of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates will be able to access more information regarding the nature of questions in the CG PET paper through the exam pattern.

As per the official CG PET exam pattern, the paper will consist of a total of 150 objective multiple-choice questions prepared from the topics of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. There will be 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates will have to select the correct option from the provided options in each question. For every correct answer, the authorities will allot one mark. There will be no negative marking.

Candidates will be able to check the official marking scheme through the CG PET exam pattern. By knowing the marking scheme, the candidates can understand how their answers will be maked by the authorities. For every correct answer, the candidates will be allotted one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect responses. Similarly, no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as they can so that they have higher chances of scoring the marks they require for admission.

As per the official CG PET exam pattern, the duration of the entrance examination will be 3 hours. In the allotted examination duration, the candidates will have to attempt 150 multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. No extra time will be provided to the candidates by the authorities. There is no specific time for each section, however, the entire paper has to be completed within the allotted 3 hours. If the candidates are unable to finish the examination within the duration, only the marked answers will be considered.

CG PET exam pattern has been released online at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in by the authorities of CPEB. Through the exam pattern of CG PET, the candidates will be able to understand how the examination will be conducted. By knowing important details such as exam mode, duration, marking scheme, nature of questions and more, the candidates will be able to prepare accordingly for the examination. The authorities will conduct CG PET as a pen-and-paper-based test at various centres.

The Rank cannot be told accurately, however, with 45 marks out of 100, you are likely to be ranked in the lower half of the merit list. If you are serious about getting admission to an M.Com programme in Chhattisgarh, I recommend that you retake the CG PET exam next year and aim to score higher.
