During preparation:
Firstly, don't take the CA CPT examination lightly. You should always keep your mind in an examination mode.
2. If you are not properly planning for your preparation, you are deliberately planning to fail and God too can't help you.
3. Self-study is the basic requirement for passing the CA CPT examination. But because of their over-confidence, they avoid, going in for an external source. Do not do so, go for reference books and external coaching. It is expected of a CA CPT student to go through the study materials provided by ICAI so as to get a clear concept of different subjects and also to know about the type of questions that you have to attempt in your exam.
4. Do Not Neglect Past Examinations/ Mock Test Papers
During exam:
5. Do not panic, as you should remember that you have studied for this and this is just the time to put that on paper.
6. Understand the questions, what it requires and accordingly what concept needs to be applied.
7. Manage your time to attempt questions and ensure to recheck the answers and applications used.

To become a commercial pilot:
1. You need to first possess a student pilot license. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in science (Physics and mathematics) with 50%.
2. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
3. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
4. You need to register at a flying club which is recognised by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.
5. Next is a private pilot license which includes sixty hours of flying. A commercial pilot license may be obtained only after a PPL and 250 hours of flying.
