Admission is based on performance in the Amrita Entrance Examination (AEEE) and/or JEE Main, combined with minimum academic requirements in 10+2. Candidates need a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in their 12th standard, with individual subject percentages not falling below 55%.

To be eligble for M.Tech programme at Amrita School of Engineering Chennai students must qualify BTech/ BE from a recognised institute with a minimum of 60% aggregrate or CGPA 6.0. While institute also accepts GATE entrance exam for admission. Aspiring candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria set by the institute for the desired course.

It is not so hard to qualify and get into and enroll into JIT - Jaya Institute of Technology Tiruvallur Chennai apart from the competition among other as you have to stasify the eligibility criteria for getting in so the first one is to get 45% in 10+2 with pcm and it and you must have a decent score in JEE Mains and xat, CAT like entrance exam also after all you will get call for GD and pi thn you can enroll into the institute
