Admission to Bachelor's programme at Tiss Science and technology is based on CUET TISS. To apply to the CUET exam, candidates are required to be eligibile for the exam : Candidates must have twelve years of school education or Intermediate in any subject stream from a recognised board. If candidates qualifies the eligibility, they can apply for the CUET exam by visiting the official website. However, TISS Mumbai has canceled the CUET TISS exam for 2024. Therefore, candidates must apply for CUET UG and PG exam, as CUET is accepted by TISS for admission. Tabulated below is the eligibility criteria for CUET:

There is a provision for reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC and PWD students, which is 15%, 7.5 %, 27% and 5% respectively. OBC reservations are allowed excluding the creamy layer category as defined by GOI. Students seeking admission against the OBC quota must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (NCL-OBC) issued by an appropriate authority.

Candiates seeking admission to AKTU and have appeared for the CUET-UG entrance test are eligible to register themselves for the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) counselling process conducted by AKTU. Also, candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in UP or whose parents are domicile of UP subject to the eligibility conditions given in the AKTU brochure are eligible for the counselling round.
