The registration fee is Rs. 5000 (Rupees Five Thousand). Every child will have to appear for the entrance exam followed by an interaction with the Principal to complete the prerequisites for admission. It's a main process.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College accepts admissions only on the basis of CUET scores. There is no direct admission in Delhi University colleges. If one has scored less or more, their admissions will be confirmed only when the cut offs are out for different courses and colleges. Even though it also depends on the category. No one can get any direct admission in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College and any other government college. If possible student have to score 480 out of 800 to get admission here. 200 is not a good score for Deen Dayal College.

There is a provision for reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC and PWD students, which is 15%, 7.5 %, 27% and 5% respectively. OBC reservations are allowed excluding the creamy layer category as defined by GOI. Students seeking admission against the OBC quota must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (NCL-OBC) issued by an appropriate authority.
