Candidates willing to apply to UG courses of Assam University through CUET should have a minimum aggregate of 55%-60%. These marks are the minimum qualifying criteria for candidates to be considered for the CUET entrance exam through which students will become eligible for admission to Assam University.

Tezpur University accepts admission in the BSc B.Ed Integrated course through CUET-UG score/ rank. Candidates willing to take admission in the BSc B.Ed course at Tezpur University must take the CUTE-UG exam and perform well to secure a good rank. Candidates whose rank will be above the closing rank as specified in the merit list released by Tezpur University can further apply for the counselling process through the university’s official website. After counselling, the applicant must undergoe document verification and fee payment to secure admission for BSc B.Ed integrated course at Tezpur University.

CUET-UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA whose score card/ rank helps in taking admission in all major UG courses besides BTech. Candidates willing to take admission in BTech must take the JEE-Main exam, which is also a national-level entrance exam but mainly for admission to BE/ BTech in various government and private universities and colleges.

Also, Tezpur University accepts admission in its BTech course based on the scorecard/ rank of JEE-Main. For lateral entry to BTech, the candidate needs to take Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE), which is TU's own entrance exam.

Yes, the institute may admit candidates without a valid IIT JAM/CUET score directly. However, this is subject to the availability of seats. UMU CUET results will be out on Jul’23 (tentative). Candidates can visit the official website to check the results of the respective courses they have applied for. The University has released its  First B Pharm Merit List, Second B Pharm Merit List, First Merit List of BSc Nursing, and Third B Pharm Merit List. Other lists are expected to be out soon.
