Mainly the university runs 3 main programmes-
- MBA/ PGDM- wherein average placements is around 3.1 lakhs
- BE./ B.Tech Proram- It contains some 11 course wherein, under this average placments would range around 3.5 to 5 LPA

The Faculty of Engineering D.Y Patil Technical Campus in Talsande accepts scores from the following national-level entrance exams for admission to the MBA program:
- MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
- XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)
- GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)
- CAT (Common Admission Test)
- CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)
- ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions)
- MAH CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test)
The university also has its own selection criteria based on the entrance exam scores and subsequent counseling process for MBA admissions.

The fees for undergraduate courses at the Faculty of Engineering, D.Y. Patil Technical Campus - Talsande, are approximately INR 1,15,000 per annum.
