Civil Engineering Scope

Frankly speaking, I feel that there will be as many opinions as the person's whom you ask. You should look ATIT from different perspective. All branches of engineering are good. You should select the one that fascinates you and not the one which I recommend.

The future of both the branch is bright as last year almost all the best faculty awards of NIT were given to civil faculty and EEE faculty.

You can crack GATE civil exam and by obtaining good marks in the same, you can take a college after the counselling of B.Tech.

Yes you can do but remember one thing there are many options in front of you.

You should do preparation for government posts.

You can go for structural design after finishing it and earn a lot. The other new options are-construction & maintenance, infrastructure development etc.

MBA in marketing or finance will help you and if you are good in your engineering I suggest you to get some work experience then go for MBA.

MBA will give you knowledge about the corporate world and it helps you to get promotions if you are stuck at the same position in you work for a long time. So, its good to pursue MBA after BE.
