For engineering, you need to go for JEE Mains to get admission in IITs and NITs and other top colleges. For medical, you need to go for NEET to get admission in top college in India. So you can choose your best.

If you are planning for engineering, then get a good score in 12th and engineering entrance test, and after completing that, you can choose your preferred branch in engineering.
Note: You can also change your branch in 1st year but only if you score good marks.

It completely depends on your interests. Even I had taken PCMCS. Initially, I thought of doing computer Science engineering and then I switched to B.Sc Physics or astrophysics and do research. Now, I'm stuck with B.Sc. Economics because I realized I will not get along with engineering nor any science subjects but maths is pretty fine for me and economics is a rarely chosen area. If you love coding, BCA or computer Science engineering is suggested. For research-based, IISER, NISER or IISAT is preferred. Business administration is suggested if you love entrepreneurship. Basically, you can try everything except biology related.

Hi Rabeeh,
You have to justify your gap, in some instances applying abroad may be easier but additional verification of your qualification will be required as per universities abroad. They have their individual admission and assessment norms for international qualification. You can also apply in India, check private colleges.

In between the time, you must be giving entrance exams for various colleges, but if still you have time and want to learn something you can start learning programming language may it be C, C +, python or Java that you can decide according to your familiarity with the skill, if you are a beginner go for C. As nowdays in Science community programming is a must have skill may it be any department you and learning programming languages are quite easy as there are so many MOOC course available over the internet.
All the best.

For getting admissions in B.Tech or any other UG programme. Ongoing dates are very important to fill the form. Every college has it's own procedure and time and date to start the application process. You must check on the NET. JEE main application has been closed already. You may take the private colleges like Amity University, SRM University, Galgotia University etc. The Galgotia University will be having it's UG programme test on 15th June, hence you have a chance to fill it. Best of luck
