I think there are plenty of opportunities to go after that most students/faculty oversee. Most faculty in biotechnology think that, the next steps after an undergraduate degree is to go for Ph.D/M.Sc. I strongly disagree with this.
In addition to courses such as Master's/ Ph.D in Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Pharmacology etc.
I would suggest you to also look at the following options:
Patent Agent/Lawyer/Attorney (Biotech + Legal Experience/Degree)
Management (Biotech + Experience + Good MBA Degree)
Biomedical/Biomechanical Engineer ((Biotech + Experience/Degree in Bio related Product Engineering)
Bioprocess Engin

Basically, placements in every branch depends on your skills. You have to get extra things along with the course. Definitely, placements are good in clinical research, but the thing is you should have a good command in basics and learn extra.
