CMI Entrance Exam 2025 for the academic cycle 2025-2026 will be held in the third week of May 2025, tentatively. As the exam notictaion and schedule is yet to be announced by the exam conducting authority, candidates can expect the CMI Entrance Exam 2025 shift timings to be remained same as of previous year.

The following degrees are acceptable for application: Bachelor of arts, Bachelor of Science in mathematics, Bachelor of statistics, Bachelor of engineering, Bachelor of technology, or any bachelor's degree with mathematics as the major topic. Effective May 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., the CMI Entrance Exam 2024 was held. Students may apply for admission to the programme if they have passed, or anticipate passing, the 12th standard (or equivalent) exam from an accredited board in 2024. The following items or objects will not be allowed to be carried to the CMI 2025 exam centres.

  1. Stationery items such as test-based material (written/printed), papers, notes, Pencil box, pouches, geometry box, pen, scale/ruler, eraser, etc.
  2. Electronic devices such as calculators, cameras, electronic pens, scanners, etc.
  3. Accessories such as bags, belts, caps, goggles, wallets, etc.
  4. Devices used for communication such as mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth, fitness bands, earphones, pager, etc.
  5. Eatables (packed or home-cooked), thermos, etc.

As per previous year, it is observed that the exam officials has provided total 2 options/ choices to the aspirants who are filling the CMI 2025 application form to select the exam cities.

No, the exam center cannot be changed after the release of the CMI admit card. The exam officials has made it clear that once the exam center is allotted to a candidate, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.

This is to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the exam. Changing the exam center at the last moment can create logistical challenges and lead to confusion among candidates and exam officials.

No, you cannot present a digital copy of your CMI admit card in place of the original at the exam centre. The CMI admit card is a required document that acts as confirmation of your eligibility and permits you to sit for the exam. You will not be permitted to enter the exam centre or take the examif you do not have your original admission card with you.
