To be considered for the B.E. / B.Tech course at Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology (CIT), applicants should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. They should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in these subjects (40% for reserved candidates). Applicants should also possess a valid rank in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or the COMEDK UGET entrance test. Besides, the students who hold a Diploma in Engineering with not less than 45% marks are also allowed to enter into the second year of the B.E. / B.Tech course through lateral entry.
