Yes, Coimbatore Institute of Technology offers a hostel and various other facilities to students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Visit the official website and check what are the charges for the hostel and decide whether to avail of this facility or not. The hostel is safe for students and proper security is maintained at the hostel for the students.

Coimbatore Institute of Technology has well-educated faculty. Most of the faculty members are PhD and higher degree holders. CIT Engineering College also invites faculty for guest lectures and offer opportunity to students to interact with some of the best personalities.

CIT, Coimbatore Institute of Technology has about 70% placement rate as of 2023. Top recruiting companies like Thorogood, Mr Cooper, Oracle, Jivox, Mia, Accolite, ABCO, KLA Tencor, Striim, etc., visit the campus for placements. The highest package of ECE in CIT, Coimbatore is 14 LPA. The average package was about 6 LPA. So students have a lot of scope to be placed in high paying companies.

Available across five specialisations, CIT Coimbatore MTech admission is subject to a valid score obtained by the students in the CEETA PG exam conducted by DOTE Chennai. - A pass in any recognised bachelor’s degree of minimum three-year duration with at least 50% aggregate (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying degree examination.
