Sri Nrusinghnath Ayurved College and Research Institute ensures that the BAMS curriculum is very hands-on and interactive. Students spend many hours in the pharmacy lab learning how to prepare Ayurvedic medicines. There are also sessions dedicated to Panchakarma therapies and yoga.

This includes four and a half years of classroom learning and one year of mandatory internship. The academic years are divided into three parts of 18 months each.
