Dear Tanisha,

For the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET), you can choose between two groups:

  1. PCM Group: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  2. PCB Group: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

You can select either group based on your academic background and the courses you wish to pursue. For example, if you're interested in engineering courses, the PCM group is appropriate. For medical or pharmacy courses, the PCB group is suitable. Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for the chosen group

Best wishes for your preparation!

Three phases make up MHT-CET registration: registration, form completion, and document upload, with application fees to be paid in between. The age limit criteria for appearing in the PU CET (UG) exam depends on whether you belong to the general category or a reserved category. For instance,  Candidates from the General and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the exam year. There's no upper age limit.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Other Backward Classes have the same minimum age requirement of 17 years old as of December 31st of the exam year. However, they are eligible for an upper age relaxation of 5 years.

The cutoff marks for JBIMS through CAT, CMAT, and CET for All India category students are exceptionally high. Cutoff for the CAT exam is generally around the 96th percentile for the All India quota. Similar to CAT, the JBIMS cutoff for CMAT is also very high for All India category students, typically around the 98th to 99th percentile.

MAH MBA CET is the entrance exam conducted by the state of Maharashtra for MBA admissions. While the overall JBIMS MMS cutoff might be slightly lower for MAH MBA CET compared to CAT/CMAT, it's still exceptionally high for All India quota students. Expect the cutoff to be around  99.88 percentile to 9
