College of Engineering Placement

Vidya Prasarini Sabha's College of Engineering and Technology (VPSCET) provides a fairly conducive placement atmosphere, especially for Computer, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering branch students. Regular campus recruitment activities are conducted by the college. These companies include Wipro, TCS, Infosys, L&T, and Mediatech, although most students are placed in local or regional companies instead of top MNCs. The highest reported salary package is INR 5 LPA, and the average package is moderate—though specific figures are not always given. Based on student feedback, approximately 80% of deserving candidates get placements every year, but the results are based on performance and the branch. The average package offered is INR 3 to 4 LPA and the highest package reaches INR 8 LPA, mainly for Computer Engineering and IT students. Placement cell trains students for aptitude, coding, and interview skills and thereby increases their chances of being placed. However, for Mechanical and Civil branches placements have less regularity depending on market trends.
