No, admissions to any course at Mookambigai College of Engineering (MCE Keeranur) are no currently open. The college offers only BTech and Mtech courses. Admission to the courses is done based on the scores obtained in the TNEA and GATE exams respectively and the applications for these exams are currently closed.

When it comes to the quality of food in the hostel mess of Mookambigai College of Engineering (MCE Keeranur) the students show a dispute in rating as some students find it of satisfactory level and some highly deny the fact that the mess meets standard quality food. But the majority of them have suggested that the hostel mess food needs to be improved as it is just satisfactory now.

There is a placement cell available at Mookambigai College of Engineering (MCE Keeranur) which actively seeks the participation of new companies to provide campus placement opportunities to their students. According to reviews of students studying there the placement cell is working hard and collaborating with different industries to Enhance placement rates.

The eligibility criteria at Mookambigai College of Engineering (MCE Keeranur) for B.E / B.Tech course are : 

Candidate must score more than 45% having subjects like PCM from any recognised board. 

In the Entrance exam the rank should lie  between 71,000 to 106,000 for the general candidates.

The hostel fees at Mookambigai College of Engineering (MCE Keeranur) is approximately about 1 Lakh per year. For the whole course the hostel charges about INR 4 Lakh and it includes both accommodation and fooding arrangements. Some caution money of about INR 40,000 approximately is charged which is returned while leaving the hostel.
