In general, NIT Agartala has an advantage over NIT Meghalaya because of its longer history and better established faculty. NIT Agartala and NIT Raipur both accept NIMCET entrance scores for admission to the MCA course. However, NIT Raipur is more competitive than Agartala in terms of the NIMCET cutoff. The Round 2 cutoff for NIT Raipur stood at 732 in 2024 for the General AI category students. While for NIT Agartala, the round 2 cutoff was 781 in 2024. The placement of the institute of chartered analyst of India University tripura for BTech programmes is good as compared to other colleges of the same domain.
The median salary package for UG programme is around Rs. 4,25,000, which is good .
Our of the total 32 students eligible for placement, 23 got placed.
For the 4 year UG programmes, out of 220 eligible students only 35 got placed in companies, which not so much satisfying.
