According to the report, a total of 141 PG students were placed during Tripura University placements 2022. The median package offered to PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 3 LPA and INR 2.60 LPA, respectively. For PG (3-year) courses, the median package stood at INR 10 LPA.

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at Tripura University, applicants must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate for SC/ST candidates). Applicants must also have passed their Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. 

Tripura University conducts Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admissions. 

Any national entrance test (MAT, CMAT, CET etc.) or TUET (Tripura University Entrance Test) followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The total tuition fee for a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Tripura University (TIT) is INR 42,000. The course is four years long and admits 60 students. The total tuition fee for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at ICFAI University Tripura is INR 4.60 Lakh. Students also need to pay a one-time admission fee of INR 30,000, and a hostel fee of INR 1.30 Lakh. 

Most students admitted to Techno College of Engineering Agartala are covered by various stipend/scholarship schemes of Govt. of India and State Govt, which allows them to complete their B.Tech degree at almost free of cost
