IT and Software was the most demanding sector wherein the placement distribution recorded during placements 2025 was 30.9%. It was followed by engineering & Tech and Education sectors with 21.3% and 12.5% placements. The least popular was Food Processing sector with placement distribution of 8.33%.

The mode of application at Institute of Management at Nirma University is online with students able to apply through the university page as long as the course eligibility is completed. While merit or entrance exam scores are the modes of selections. Students must also pay application fees to the university while applying for admissions.

No, Institute of Management at Nirma University does not offer direct admissions and does not reserve any seats under special management quota. As such students must get admission purely on merit alone with entrance exam scores, Personal Interview rounds or past academic merit being taken into account for deciding admissions.
