Gujarat University provides scholarships to the lower backward class or SC/ ST for better education and financial support. More than 30 scholarship schemes initiated by the Government of Gujarat are covered by Gujarat University. For developing high-quality research Government of Gujarat has initated a scheme called SHODH (scheme of developing high-quality research ) to offer  financial assistance to students doing qualitative research. Under this scheme, more than 1000 full-time research scholars awarded INR 15,000 per month and INR 20,000 contingency expense P.A. in the last five years.

Gujarat University MBA total tuition fee ranges between INR 40,000 and INR 1.6 Lacs as per an unofficial source. Candidates are required to pay course fee after the completion of selection rounds and counselling to confirm their seat in the university. Other than course fee, aspirants also need to pay a registration fee in the start of the admission process. The application fee for MBA course is INR 500.
