Yes, NID Ahmedabad offers good placement opportunities to its students. The Placement Office provides strategic platform to synergize and facilitate interaction between academia and industry with an idea to provide exposure to NID Students. As per the media report, the average package offered was INR 21.30 LPA (Approx.) during NID Ahmedabad placements 2023. Further, 30 job offers were made by Microsoft during the placement drive in 2022. Candidates are advised to visit the official website to know the complete list of placement details for 2023.

National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad provides hostels to all out-stationed BDes students. Hostel accommodation is allocated only for a year and students have to apply for reallocation every year. Subscription to mess facilities is compulsory for all hostel residents. Local students cannot apply for hostel accommodation. Rooms are semi-furnished with a bed, a desk, a chair and storage space for each student.

The basic eligibility criteria that students must fulfil to avail Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students are given below:
- The applicant must be above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class 12 or equivalent.

No, the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) score is not considered for the NID entrance test. For entry into BArch programs at various Indian architectural colleges, applicants must pass the NATA aptitude test. Only DAT scores are accepted by NID Bengaluru for admission to the MDes program.
