The college is accredited with A grade by NAAC and has been placed at 59th rank in top India colleges as per NIRF 2020. The institute offers B.Sc. Courses in 12 different streams. The student must have obtained 45% marks in each of the 4 subjects included in the aggregate calculation. The student must have passed in all the papers as per the respective board/council pass marks. Marks in all subjects indicated in the +2 level marksheet must be entered in the application form.

Aurobindo Institute of Management give a very good placement record as they provide around 98% of placements the highest placement was to be received was of 3.5 Lacs.

The cutoff for MCA in 2022 at Institute of Technology, Nirma University was as follows:
* General: 1343
* SC: 16
* ST: 199
* OBC-NCL: 151
The cutoff is the minimum score that a candidate must obtain in order to be eligible for admission to the MCA program at Nirma University. The cutoff is different for each category of students. The cutoff is based on the number of seats available, the number of applications received, and the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination.
