SHIATS (Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology) is a government aided private university. It is a state university established by UP legislature but administered by a private Christian society which operates with university status.

It was formerly the Allahabad Agricultural Institute (AAI) and became a university in 2016.

Students who will pass the SHIATS Entrance Exam will be eligible for admission in their preferred courses for the session 2026-2027. The SHIATS 2026 Result will be announced in the third week of July month, tentatively. Students must visit the official website and fill in their roll number and application number to check out their SHIATS 2026 Scores.

First, fill the online form. Then give the SHIATS entrance exam. After that, attend counselling. You must pass Class 12 with Science or agriculture subjects. SHIATS offers special courses and good jobs in agribusiness.

SHIATS is a university exam for admission to Sam Higginbottom Institute. ICAR AIEEA is a national exam for many agriculture universities in India. ICAR gives more choices and big exposure. SHIATS is good if you want to study in one famous institute.

Allahabad University is famous for its MBA and MCA programmes. AU Allahabad MBA students get jobs in popular companies like Reliance, Jio, Genpact, and others. AU University Allahabad through its Institute of Professional Studies gives MCA programme to the available students.
