It is quite difficult to get accepted to Chaitanya Engineering College (CEC), Visakhapatnam, for B.E./B.Tech. With cutoffs ranging from 30,000 to 70,000 for branches like CSE and ECE candidates must have a valid Andhra Pradesh EAMCET rank and a 50% in 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; 40% for reserved categories) Popular branches should aim for a rank below 50,000. 60% in 10+2 can enter more easily with a management quota (30% seats) but the costs are higher. Exam performance and thorough academic preparation are crucial.
