Currently, JNTUK has not released the commencement date of BTech classes for new sessions i.e., 2025. However, according to the previous year's academic calendar. The classes for BTech courses have been started in August. Hence, for this year the classes might begin on similar dates to the previous batch.

For admission to the undergraduate engineering courses at the university and its affiliated colleges, candidates must have completed their Class 12 from the Science stream (specifically PCM) and must secure relevant scores in any of the following entrance exams and counselling: Andhra Pradesh EAMCET/JEE Main/AP ECET/ S EAMCET, etc.
