Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India provides national fellowship under the scheme of National Fellowship of Scholarship for Higher Education for ST students. Bodoland University students pursuing PhD course can apply for the fellowship. There are 750 slots for the fellowship. Interested students must apply on the official website of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

Bodoland University offers admission to most of the courses based on entrance-exam scores. The university conducts a Common Entrance Test or CET for B.Ed and M.Ed admission. Bodoland University also conducts an entrance exam for selecting candidates for PG and PhD programmes. Once the candidates are selected, they have to come for counselling and document verification.

No, Bodoland University does not accepts CAT score. Admission to MBA programme is based on merit of the aspirants in the entrance-exam conducted by the university. The university may accept CUET-PG score also for admission to MBA. Besides, candidates must also complete their graduation with at least 50% aggregate to apply for MBA.

Candidates applying for Bodoland University PG courses need to qualify a minimum of graduation. The minimum aggregate for graduation ranges between 50%-55%. Hence, aspirants with 60%-70% have a good chance of getting admission in Bodoland University. There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for SC/ ST candidates. Hence, aspirants belonging to these categories have even more chance of getting admission in the preferred course.

One of the most popular student majors at Assam University is computer Science and engineering. Assam University's BTech placement rates, however, are lower than those of other state and central universities. Nevertheless, compared to other disciplines offered under the BTech programme at Assam University, the CSE discipline in particular is significantly superior.
Applicants must sit the JEE-Main test to be considered for admission to the BTech programme in Computer Science Engineering (CSE). To be qualified for Assam University's counselling process, they must obtain a respectable rank.

Assam University UG admission through CUET 2024: Assam University offers various undergraduate, post-graduate and integrated courses as well. Students seeking admission to Assam University must have a valid CUET score. NTA will conduct the central university entrance from 15 May to 24 May 2024 for CUET UG.Guwahati: Majority of general degree colleges in Assam will not consider Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for admission to undergraduate courses during the academic year 2024-25 owing to the absence of a clear directive from state government or universities.
