Yes currently 7.9k international students are studying at UWA including Indians. In 2024 India was the second top country of origin with a total enrollment of 23.7% or 2,746 Indian origin students after China

To enroll in any course at UWA students will have to submit the following tests and overall scores mentioned to become eligible-

  • DET- 125
  • IELTS- 6.5-7.0
  • PTE- 64-70
  • TOEFL iBT- 82-92

Yes, you can transfer to UTS Sydney from current college or university. For that, students can reapply via the UTS Application portal.

As part of the process, they may be asked to submit transcripts of their current course and the credits they've achieved.

UTS Sydney is generally considered as a Level 1 university in Australia. The university ranks among the top 100 universities in the world. The University of Sydney World Ranking 2026 is #96 according to QS World.

Times Higher Education ranks it #145 in the world for the year 2026.

UNSW is usually considered the better option for higher studies. UNSW ranks #3 in Australia, as part of the latest Shiksha rankings. The University of Technology Sydney on the other hand, ranks #9 in Australia.

UNSW is considered the better choice for STEM, Law, and Business courses. UTS on the other hand is considered better for practical skills.

Yes, the University of Melbourne is ranked really well among the top university of the world. As per the US World and News rankings in 2025,  the University of Melbourne is ranked #30.

The Melbourne ranking is constant at #27 in 2024. This is a decline in these rankings.

Yes, Monash University is ranked by the QS World and News in the year 2026

As per the Monash University Quacquarelli Symonds rankings, there is a slight up in the world university ranking of Monash. In the year 2026, the QS ranking is #36 which is an improvement from what it was in the last year.

This university ranking has improved from 1 place as compared to last year's ranking.
