Applicants can apply for admission to the University of Queensland via an agent which are authorized ones, available in their respective countries. The applicants can also apply on their own if they don't wish to apply through an agent. For more details, students are advised to check out the difference between Self Apply vs Study Abroad Agency. In order to apply to UQ, applicants can follow the steps listed below:
Step 1: Create an account;
Step 2: Complete the application;
Step 3: Submit the application; and
Step 4: Manage the application (if required).

A variety of scholarships are available at the University of Queensland for international students applying for either merit or need-based. School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences Indian Scholarship is available for international students applying for UQ's courses in this school. Yes, the University of Queensland admissions are very competitive. There are few seats available for admission and yet a huge number of applications are received each year. A limited number of students get through the admission process at the University of Queensland. The admission process is not an easy one and requires numerous assessments, thorough scrutiny, and an understanding of a student's passion for studies.

Yes, the University of Queensland offers more scholarships than any other university in Australia. UQ also provides country specific scholarships for Indian students and this makes their studies much more easier as a significant portion of tuition fee gets reduced. The University of Queensland MBA is a top-ranked course and in order to pursue this, all the international students must fulfill certain entry requirements listed below-

  • Four years of full-time work experience post-graduation
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • GPA of at least 4.50 on a 7-point scale
  • GMAT score (Recommended 550)
  • At least 6.5 overall in the IELTS test (or equivalent test)

Yes, Melbourne Institute of Technology allows international students to have jobs while they're studying. You can work up to 40 hours every two weeks when your courses are in session, and full-time during breaks.

Rules for Your Work Visa:

  • Finish your course within the time specified in your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
  • Keep your grades up according to MIT's Academic Progress Policy.
  • Stay at MIT for at least six months unless they say you can go to another school.
  • Make sure you have Overseas Student Health Cover for your whole stay in Australia.
