The University of New England admission requirements for international students seeking admission to Master of Data Science course are given below:

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (AQF Level 7) OR
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline* (AQF Level 7) OR
• A Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Bachelor with Honors (AQF level 8 or overseas equivalent) in a relevant discipline* OR
• The applicants must have completed a bachelor’s qualification from an overseas institute in a relevant discipline*

(* Relevant Disciplines: Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Statistics)

International students at the University of New England will be eligible for the following scholarships:

• UNE International Student Scholarship: This is offered to full-time, on-campus international commencing students who are starting their studies at UNE Armidale campus in Trimester 1, 2024. It is not offered to couples or students accompanied by their families
• UNE International Postgraduate Research Award: This award is offered to outstanding international students who wish to enrol in a research degree at the University of New England

• For direct entry to UG courses of UNE, the applicants must have completed an educational qualification considered to be at least equivalent to completion of Year 12 in Australia

Postgraduate Courses

• The applicants must have completed an educational qualification that is considered to be at least comparable to an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) bachelor degree
