All international students who are going to submit an international student application to the University of Tasmania undergraduate degree & postgraduate coursework, they will be automatically assessed for Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS). This scholarship will provide a 25% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of students’ course. Also, note that there is no need to apply separately for this scholarship.

The University of Tasmania requirements for international students for Master of Technology and Systems are:

  • You are required to have an equivalent Australian bachelor's degree
  •  IELTS score 6.5 - no band less than 6

The 2024 international student fees for international students for the University of Tasmania Master of Information Technology and Systems course is AUD 77,228. The UTAS acceptance rate is 75% as per to various unofficial sources which shows that the university is less selective when it comes to admissions. So, to take admission to this university, make sure to meet the entry requirements and apply as per the deadline. The basic requirement at the University of Tasmania is completion of 12th Year education for admission to bachelor's degree. If the applicants wish to apply via agents, then they can find one of the university’s authorized agents in their respective regions. Note that there is no University of Tasmania application fee.
