The Newcastle University wants applicants to have a minimum 75% average in Standard XII as comparable to ABB at A level. The score can be awarded by any of the following mentioned below

- Be an international student
- Be enrolled in on-campus, external or online mode
- Be a commencing student
- Receive an offer to study within one of the study periods in 2024, in an award level programme offered by the University of Southern Queensland
- Meet the academic and English language requirements for the UniSQ award programme for which they apply
- Not be in receipt of another UniSQ tuition fee scholarship
- Not be a sponsored student
