With a 72% acceptance rate, the University of Canberra is comparatively easier to get into for international students. However, students must prove themselves by performing exceptionally well in academics and fulfilling the eligibility and requirements expected by the UC. The university considers certain academic and non-academic factors while selecting the candidates for admission. International applicants must have an Australian bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent for master's and a minimum selection rank, NCEA Level 3/ IB/ GCE A levels for the bachelor's curriculum.

Stanley operates as a vocational education provider that keeps its tuition costs affordable for Diploma and certificate students yet Bond University charges higher prices for both its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Yearly tuition at Stanley ranges from AUD 10,000 to AUD 15,000 yet Bond University charges more than AUD 30,000 depending on the selected program.
